SBBC Day 27 - Most Expensive Makeup Item.

Okay looking through my stuff I only have the odd expensive thing as I'm currently trying to build up my collection of high end products so upon looking I've came to the conclusion my dearest beauty product is;

My M.A.C Studio Fix Fluid Foundation (NW18) - £21.50.

I absolutely love this foundation but I do have a slight flaw with it and it's the fact I bought it in the shade darker as I bought it for my prom which I was wearing tan to, and now obviously I don't wear tan on a daily basis so can't get much use out of my foundation - but clearly I'm already forward thinking - and this has given me the knowledge that I now need to buy it in the lighter shade soon as possible! Yay!

#SBBC Day 26 - Beauty History.

Sorry again girlies for not posting yesterday, I came in from work with a severe migrane and ended up going to my bed and sleeping it off. I had chosen not to do yesterday post anyway as I felt like it was a bit of a repeat of the "Beauty Fails" post I done on the 11th, which I'm just going to attach instead of doing a full new post as I'm in a bit of a rush anyway!

"Beauty Fails post"

(p.s I think we've all gathered daily blogging is not my forte haha).

#SBBC Day 25 - Shopping Habits & Mini Beauty Haul.

Okay this full post was supposed to be a "shopping habits" post but I don't really have much - so I thought I'd add in a mini beauty haul since I went shopping today and got some random bits and bobs all individually less than a fiver (£5) and altogether less than a tenner (£10) - can't complain eh?!

So to kick this post off I best cover the "shopping habits" bit off first eh? To be honest I'm more of a makeup rather than clothes kinda person, and I'd rather buy pointless wee things rather than one big thing that I love and when I do go shopping I tend to just go into the shop - maybe have a quick snoop buy what I'm needing then back out again. If I'm going looking for an outfit and have no idea what I'm looking for I'm a nightmare (ask my mum she'll back me on this) I can be the moodiest person ever at this point, typical girl problem no doubt! If I'm buying for someone else I'm not too fussed I usually have an idea or two what I'm looking for or I just make a present up for them that means something to them or they can keep forever, something cute that I've actually but thought into, I love gifts like them! When I do go shopping for clothes I usually find what I need in Primark, New Look or Matalan as the clothes are lovely in them all and are pocket friendly, I do like to have a snoop online and get the odd purchase from ASOS, but I know what I like and what I like is usually out of my limit price wise, but as the saying goes (usually not in clothing terms however) a girl can look! haha, but yip that concludes my shopping habits, now on to what bargains I picked up today, love a good bargain so I do!

(left to right) Dainty Doll Eyeshadow (Are You Experienced), Dainty Doll Eyeshadow Base (Frankie Girl), Revlon Nail Polishes (135 Sweet Tart/340 Stunning/902 Craving Coral), Collection Lasting Colour Gel Liner (Black), Smash Box Liquid Halo HD Foundation testers, Pure 3 in 1 makeup remover wipes.

Didn't even plan on buying anything today cause I'm seriously lacking in the money department (hurry up payday!!) but that was all fine and dandy until I went into poundland today with my mum, she got a phone call so went out to the door and left me to browse at the makeup section, bad idea! Faster than you could blink I had picked up the 3 Revlon nail polish (one which I already own) and the two Dainty Doll products and the 3 in 1 wipes, I just can't resist a £1 bargain, especially when you'd usually pay £6 odd for a Revlon nail polish (these ones are obviously discontinued products or a faulty batch of some sort) and I'm not sure how much the Dainty Doll things usually cost but it sure as hell ain't a pound!

Dainty Doll Eyeshadow
(Are You Experienced)

I originally bought the two Dainty Doll products thinking they were both eyeshadow but it turns out the Frankie Girl one is just a base, as this was in packaging I wasn't sure what colour of brown it would be (it said dark brown, but you get several brown colours) but I risked it with it being Autumn and all, you can't go wrong with a brown. So upon testing it out for this post I'm happy with the matte texture and also the pigmentation, I can't wait to give this a proper try soon.

Two coats of each Revlon nail polish (left to right 135 Sweet Tart/340 Stunning/902 Craving Coral) I've ha the sweet tart one before and I loved it so o thought why not pick it up for £1 and I adored the look of the other two so thought I might as well pick them up! Having had the sweet tart one before I know they last so can't wait to try them out again on a full set of nails!

I've been looking for a gel liner for ages and I've saw a few reviews on this an there was like £1 discount or so, it was down to £3.48 in Asda! lol, I actually can't fault this as it does what it says on the lid which is last long, I was at it for ages trying to get it off with my 3 in 1 makeup wipes which is also bought today in poundland, they smell absolutely amazing and I bought them for lazy days as I'm trying to up my cleansing routine.

 (on arm left to right shades 2, 4 , 6 and 9)

I got this free sample in Boots today, it's a Smashbox Liquid Halo HD Foundation, upon looking at the range today in the shop and also talking to the consultant I have concluded that they deal with lots of skin tones and also that it's a photographic based makeup company, which I back 100% cause I'm all for looking good in photographs (what, who's not?!) after coming home and trying this out (the tester shades where in 2, 4, 6 and 9) I opted for shade 2 as it was the closest to my skin type and turned out to be the perfect colour - another great thing I love about this is that it contains an SPF 15 so you don't need to worry about putting one on under your foundation! One thing I noticed at the counter today is how pricey it was though but since I really did like the texture which felt extremely moisturising but fast drying I think I'd maybe have a sneaky purchase or two from there when I receive my first wage (naughty Natalie!)

#SBBC Day 24 - Favourite Brand.

I'm going to do this one a bit different, the brand I'm going to write about isn't actually my favourite brand, but instead one that I never thought I would like but actually really do (my real favourite brand is rimmel or illamasqua when I feel like a splurge).

So, my favourite brand (drum roll) is..

(Image from Google).

What is Jane Iredale makeup I hear you cry?! Jane Iredale is a mineral makeup brand created specifically for and used by plastic surgeons and dermatologists which was created in 1994. The products in this brand are free from fillers and binders such as talc and mineral oils and also without chemicals and such.

The reason I've chosen this particular makeup brand is because it's the makeup brand I'm trained in - before college this brand would have been my idea of hell! It is a bit pricey but it's worth it! I used to always opt for a full face of makeup so mineral makeup sounded like a nightmare to me. I still do opt for a full face of makeup but now I'm not totally against mineral makeup.

I've also chosen this brand as it's a world wide brand so even if you haven't heard of it before the chances are it's available in your country. It also has vast range of colours and formulas so you'll be sure to find one to suit your skin type as well as tone!

Jane Iredale makeup caters for all areas of the face and for anyone with skin concerns I recommend this brand to you 100% - the picture I'm about to post is of a lady who has undergone laser resurfacing surgery 12 days prior to having her makeup done and the left hand side is with the makeup and the right hand side is without - this particular picture was up in my college and that's why I've chosen it. As far as I'm aware there has been no editing on the picture.

(Image from Google).

My favourite product from the Jane Iredale range is the Bitty Brow Kit which I wear daily I've tried several brow products and this is the only one that I've found lasts and works as the minerals latch on to the eyebrow hair. The only negative I have about the range is that the eyebrow kit only comes in brown and blonde, this doesn't effect me but it may affect a lot of other people with black eyebrow hair for instance, I know when I used to draw my eyebrows in darker it used to annoy the hell out of me - so I feel your pain! haha.

But other than that slight glitch I have nothing but praise for this brand, who'd have thought college would make me have an interest in mineral makeup? Not me, but it has and I'm glad! Unfortunately  I'm on my phone so I can't link the Jane Iredale page but if you google it I'm sure you'll find it, it's also linked in one of my recent posts if you would rather just have a flick through.

- I did upload this yesterday but just realised there was an uploading error, soz!

#SBBC Day 23 - Hints & Tips.

On my blog post from the #SBBC Day 21 I done a "shop my stash" type blog, however, based it around fake tanning products. At the end of the blog I asked if anyone would be interest in a hints & tips post on tanning due to me being trained in Fake Bake spray tans; no one commented (awkward) but this is the perfect post for me to do this on so know what? I'm going to. All these hints and tips will give you the best tanning result you can imagine!

Before your tan (24 hours prior to tanning):

Moisturiser - must be oil free moisturiser
Wash your hair
Dry you hair

- also make sure you have been patched tested for the tanning products (every time!!)
- no other self tanning products up to a week prior to the tan
- no deodorant / makeup / baby oil / body lotion to be applied before tanning

wear loose, dark (preferably old) clothes to get your tan done.

During tanning process:

Things you should be given to wear (all optional) from your therapist are;
- disposable underwear
- sticky soles (to protect the soles of your feet)
- hair protector

You will then have oil free moisturiser applied to your;
- feet, knees, hands and elbows (plus any other dry areas you have).

Your tan will then be applied professionally lasting roughly 10 minutes.
Then you will be left for a few minutes to dry off, and you can then get dressed.

- You do not need two or more layers of fake tan for your skin to go darker, the tan will only be based on the first layer of tan applied so anymore would be a waste of product!!

After your tan - straight away:
Wear loose, dark (preferably old) clothing
Keep dry and try to avoid all contact with water (no dishes to do, yay!)

Let the tan develop for 6 to 8 hours (I usually do this over night)
Try to avoid any other beauty/hair treatments whilst your tan is developing
Avoid any physical activities (things that will make you perspire aka sweat)
Try to drink via a straw.

After your tan has developed:

Rinse off colour guide
Avoid products with alpha hydroxy acids as they can strip the tan
Avoid chlorine
To prolong your tan use oil free moisturiser.

If your unsure of which tan to opt for (presuming you have the choice) your therapist should hold an initial consultation with you.

Hope this helps,
Natalie xx

#SBBC Day 22 - Signature Perfume.

This without a doubt is my favourite perfume I'm sure this is my second big 100ml bottle and I've already had two 30ml's as well, I go through it like there's no tomorrow - for those not familiar with this perfume it is the:
Beyonce Heat Rush!

Obviously I do have other perfumes I really like and some more bigger named brands that are out there such as Dior and Pacco Rabanne , however Beyonce's second scent in her perfume range is the one I come back to time and time again! It also is bank friendly at £18.25 in Boots for the 100ml so very affordable.

The reason why I like this so much is that I really love fruity smells and this just screams fruitiness! I'd class this as a "sexy, girly, fun smelling perfume" and I'd say it suits a vast range of ages assuming a fruity smell is what you want to opt for; I'll leave a list of the notes this perfume contains at the bottom of this post for all you note obsessed people! (That's me included).

Whilst I'm on the subject of perfume I'm going to do a perfume "throwback" which reminds me of my younger days , aka 13/14 year old Natalie. This perfume being; Versace Baby Rose Jeans.

(picture from google).

This honestly reminds me so much of my younger years in High School (not sure English or USA equivalent - sorry) because my friend used to wear this and I asked her what kind it was and she told me and after that I was hooked, there was also a red and blue version but it was all about the baby rose version back then! I'm not even sure of the notes for this one but I'm sure it was quite the mix between floral and fruity (you think the "rose" part would give the floral away) but honestly it was splendid to say the least. I was looking at it last week and told my mum I'm determined to buy it on pay day as I want to have a spritz and relive my younger years (I also need to text my friend asap to see if she remembers this!!). The bum note with this perfume is that it's really hard to find - I think one or two shops at most near me stock it (it's much easier to find the red and blue) but I think it's about £10 at the most.

Natalie xx

Beyonce Heat Rush Notes:
Top: Passion fruit, blood orange and Brazilian Cherry.
Heart: Yellow Tiger Orchid, Mango Blossom and Orange Hibiscus.
Base: Teakwood, Honey Amber and a Musk accord that is inspired by the sunsets in Brazil.

#SBBC Day 21 - Shop My Stash - sort of.

Okay ladies, sincere apologies again - I'm posting a day late but having recently got a job and I'm so tired when I get home even though I finish early afternoon but I'm up from half 6/ish so usually fall asleep once I eventually get home (buses are horrible things). So anyway I'm posting a day late again (snoozeville) but I promise to post todays and tomorrows blog posts tomorrow night at some point;

so for yesterdays "challenge" day it was a shop your stash but I've thrown a wee change in there and put my own twist on it - what this post will be about is not necessarily products that I have forgotten about but ones I'm not using as much - à la tanning products - as I'm loving the au natural look these days .. so here goes.

(left to right) St Tropez Mousse, Chloe Sims 1 Hour Mousse, St Moriz (Medium), Sun Shimmer Instant (Medium), Fake Bake Flawless Spray.

I have tried other tans however these are the ones I have just now (I have duplicates of them all minus the chloe sims tan as I haven't gotten round to buying another yet).

St Tropez Mousse - Okay I'm afraid to say this is my favourite tan which I'd recommend to anyone but it's the dearest at around £35 (don't have correct price to hand) - it's natural looking, but not overly natural that it looks as if there is nothing there, but just enough to make you glow and look like a bronzed goddess, I'd recommend this for any brides to be also, as I don't feel it transfers on to clothes as much as other tans (and doesn't give off a biscuit smell) I wear this tan to all "important" occasions as it makes me feel good about myself. A must have I'd say!

Chloe Sims - I love this tan, the colouring reminds me of the st tropez, as it says on the bottle you can get a colour after 1 hour, however it isn't a very strong colour, you'd have to keep it on longer for how much darker you'd like your tan to go. At £20 I'd say it's the best alternative to the st tropez and you still aren't getting the biscuity smell. I did feel this came off on to my clothes a small amount (but that may be due to sweating in what felt like a sauna at the time of wearing this - lovely image for you there haha).

St Moriz - Cheap alternative to st tropez, for your first tan I'd say this is a great buy at roughly £3.99. I feel it it super hard to exfoliate off though but when it's on and applied correctly it looks lovely! I don't feel it has much of smell to it either.

Sun Shimmer Lotion - Okay this has pros and cons to it, one - its instant so for any last minute plans it's great to shove on, also because it's a lotion formula it's fast to apply the cons are however it has shimmer in it which is not everyones cup of tea but it does state on the bottle that it is a shimmer, also it is a wash off product so basically if you get caught in the rain you're screwed pretty much (and living in Scotland this tends to happen to me a lot). With this I also find it slightly biscuit smelling but it also costs about £4 or there abouts and does it's job great so what's not to like?!

Fake Bake Flawless Spray - Being trained in Fake Bake spray tans comes in handy here (I also have the fb original and fb darker formulas for the spray gun but I felt they would be useless in this post as they need to be applied with the spray gun). The Flawless spray from Fake Bake is my ultimate favourite Fake Bake product as it smells of coconuts but I felt it was a wee bit too light for my liking but I'm pleased to announce that Flawless Darker has just recently been released so I'll need to purchase that soon. So all in all I like this product but I think I'll prefer the darker one. Bare in mind this product isn't for you if you aren't a fan of coconuts as it smells strongly of them but that's what appealed me to this. I'm unsure of the exact price of this as I got it in the breast cancer set last year, but if you look online I'm sure you will be able to find it on there.

Just a small disclaimer here - all tans stated in this blog post only need one application (unless topping up) it doesn't matter how many times a tan is applied it your skin will only take to the first application so a 2nd or even 3rd will be a waste of product. (This is unless of course it's a build up product).

If anyone would like to see a separate blog post on my blogging tips please leave a comment below, thank you!

#SBBC Day 20 - 10 Products Under £10.

Left to Right; Simple Light Moisturiser, Perfect10 Medium Length Lashes, Wake Me Up Foundation (Ivory 100), Wake Me Up Concealer (010 Ivory), MUA Lipstick (13), My Coconut Island Body Butter, W7 Brow Bar, Royal Pretty Pastel Nail Tips, Rimmel Lycra Pro Nail Polish (312 Ultra Violet), Rimmel Stay Matte Powder (005 Silky Beige).

Simple Light Moisturiser: this cost me £3.85 which is fab for this as it's light wearing and really really hydrating and dries within seconds. Really recommend the simple range if you're looking for something low cost that will still work for you.

Perfect10 Medium Length Lashes: I bought these the other day in SemiChem for £3.99 and it was on buy one get one free so I managed to get 2 pairs, lucky me. As I've only had them a few days I've only had one wear out of them, the glue is great and the lashes are very easy to apply. They are a lot thinner than the lashes I'd usually wear but I wanted a wee change but they're still lovely and still look quite full for being as thin.

Wake Me Up Foundation: For a foundation as good as this £8.99 is not a lot of money, honestly this is the best high street/drug store foundation you will find (well so I think anyway). It has an SPF15 in it so as well as making you look extra gorgeous it's protecting you from all the elements, it is an anti-fatigue foundation which gives you a radiant glow, I personally would say if you have oily skin this is not the foundation for you as it makes your skin look really dewy so that on top of oil is not a good look (unless you want to powder every 2 second, again, not a good look).

Wake Me Up Concealer: I'd say same goes with the concealer at £5.49 it's a bargain, it's a really good buy, however I'd say it's better for dark circles rather than covering any blemishes and same again with the oily skin - I'd say avoid unless you want to be powdering constantly.

MUA Lipstick: Okay to be honest I didn't particularly like this colour on me but at £1 I can't exactly complain, I stuck it out for a full day though and with roughly 2 or 3 top ups it seemed to last. I'd definitely repurchase this for £1 but maybe in a different colour next time.

My Coconut Island Body Butter: I've spoken about this before - I'm in LOVE with it. If you've read my blog before you'll probably be aware that coconut is one of my favourite scents so you'll know as soon as I spotted this about a year back I was all over it in my local Tesco, it's a 250ml tub and I can assure you a small amount goes a long way. I've not used a body butter so good in a looooong time. It soaks into my skin within seconds but giving you enough time to rub it into the skin and at £3.99 it's worth the buy - you can get it here.

W7 Brow Bar: I've also spoken about this in one of my past blogs I picked this up in a local bargain store for £2.99 I'm sure and it's great, I usually wear my Jane Iredale Bitty Brow Kit religiously however I've been dipping in and out of this the colours are really pigmented and it's handy to have as, as well as having 4 colours it has a small application brush and it is also bag friendnly (as well as bank account which is always a good thing).

Royal Pretty Pastel Nail Tips: I picked these up in a Watt Brothers store recently for £2.99 and they are lovely, they're stick on nails using nail glue in pastel colours so if you are in a rush and don't have the time to wait on nail polish drying or get a set of acrylic or gel nails you can pop these on in an instant to add a pop of colour to your outfit.

Rimmel Lycra Pro Nail Polish: This is a must have in my nail polish collection, it's £4.59 and worth every penny. It is so easy to apply as it has a thick applicator as well as it being flat, it's super fast drying and last's a good few days without chipping - that is all I'm asking for in a nail polish and I'm happily getting that with this great buy, if you've not tried it I recommend that you do.

and finally..

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder: At £3.99 it's impossible to say no to this I think, I've heard this being raved about all over the beauty blogging world which led me to buy it and I now know why. It keeps my foundation in place for what seems forever and it calms down any dewyness that's going on over my t-zone, if you don't own this I'd say your missing out - I was for a long time so I don't want you to be for any longer so I sing my praises for this!

Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag.

Thanks to Katrina from over at Beautrina for tagging me in this.

1) Name a beauty regime that you barely do.
cleanse, tone and moisturise - I'm so bad for skipping this! Well more so skipping cleansing and toning I do moisturise quite a bit.

2) Is washing your make up brushes something you do regularly?
Yeah I actually do it about once a week as I find using my brushes horrible if they've not been cleaned.

3) How long will you last with chipped nail polish?
I won't last long at all the second it chips I take it off and redo it (if I have time, if not I take it off and leave it).

4) How long do you put off buying/replacing a new beauty or nail polish product even if you need it (i.e. a new base coat or a new foundation etc)?
Until I have the money to replace it, I do try my hardest to replace things before they run out though but I'm quite rubbish at judging when that will be.

5) What is your worst beauty habit?
The same as number 1, failing miserably to cleanse and tone. Hence why I like having my 3in1.

6) Name something non-beauty related you put off doing all the time?
Tidying my room is the thing I put off doing the most, once I start I'm there for ages cause I have a fairly big room.

7) When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready until the last minute or not?
No honestly, I'm the worst for getting ready early and then sitting about waiting for ages before I can go out, if I'm going out at half 7 I'll start getting ready about 2ish, ahh!

8) Can you commit to spending bans?
Yes, the majority the time I usually don't have a choice due to lack of money in my purse haha.

9) How organised is your make up and nail polish collection?
It's extremely organised (check out my last post - here).

10) What is the longest amount of time you've gone without writing a blog post?
When I started this blog I ended up unintensionally taking about a month out but I'm back on top form.

I tag:
Emma (A Brunette Beauty)
Ellie (Ellie's Ramblings)
Girl Friday (Girl Friday)

#SBBC Day 19 - Storage.

This is where I store my makeup, I took inspiration from one of Louise's (Sprinke of Glitter) youtube videos, if it wasn't Louise's it was Tanya Burr's. I can't actually remember who's it was out of the two but anyway it was about storage so I was then on a mission to tidy up my makeup and nail polishes so they were all organised, so as you can see all my cleansers etc are at the back of the drawer, as well as my palettes (which are also underneath the baskets) and then I have an apron and brush "holder" thing. Then I have baskets containing (left to right) brushes, foundations/powders/blushers/primers, eyeshadows/eyebrow kits, mascaras/eyeliners/eyelashes/eyelash glues, lipsticks/lipglosses/lip liners/lip balms/diy lip tars. (I got my baskets from Wilkinson, can't remember how much for though).

This is my nail polish collection as you can see it's all set out nicely into two boxes cause there was that much, basically the way I've set it up is by colour coordinating it and that's that.

#SBBC Day 18 - Desert Island Items.

Right so the idea of being stuck on a desert island terrifies the life out of me hahaha (such a baby!) but to make things slightly easier to cope with I'm allowed to have 10 beauty related items with me , with the prospect that all my items have been stolen and I'm only allowed to repurchase 10 which ones would I go for, so here's what I think I'd go for..

Factor 50 suntan lotion - I usually wouldn't wear factor 50 (tut tut) but since I'm stuck on the island and will be exposed to the sun daily I thought factor 50 would be the best idea, bright thinking on my part I'd say haha.

Mascara - Let's just put it this way, if a handsome stranger had to come along and save me from the island I'd need to have long eyelashes to flutter at him ;) hahaha. I know, I know I like my thinking too.

Compact Bronzer - Partly because I need a mirror to look in, and the bronzer can just be to make me feel better with a glow.

Tweezers - I need to keep my eyebrows in check before I get rescued otherwise I'd look like - em, a beast (lovely picture for you to imagine haha).

Kirby Grips (bobby pins) - So I can have different hair styles and can't keep it up away from my face whilst I catch a good tan.

Body Butter - To keep my skin from drying out in the sun and smelling nice, saves me from having to have perfume in my list waisting an important space.

Nail File - To keep my nails in check so they don't get too unruly. My nails are quite long already but I'd just keep them at a reasonable length and shape them if they break.

3 & 1 Cleanser/Toner/Moisturiser - Pretty self explanatory can't not have a cleanser, toner and moisturiser in my list.

Cotton Wool - Basically I need these to the use my 3 & 1 and that's literally why they're currently taking residency on my list haha!

Lip Balm SPF15 - To keep my lips nice and moisturiser whilst still being protected from the sun as I'm prone to cold sores when the sun is out on force! haha

And that's my top 10 desert island must haves, whats yours?! leave a comment and let me know!

#SBBC Day 17 - Don't Get the Hype.

I was doing so well with posting my blog posts on the days they're due, however not today as I didn't get to post yesterday so back to square one...

So, "A Product I Don't Get the Hype About?"

Not going to lie there isn't one specific product that I can think of, so as a whole I don't understand the hype about is "primer" every foundation I have ever used stays put without it, fair enough I do own one and have used one but I genuinely don't think it makes any difference but that's just my personal opinion

- nice wee short post for you all today ;)

#SBBC Day 16 - Wish List.

All pictures - google.

Okay this is my first ever "wish list" and I've just threw random things in there cause I hadn't actually though about it, so when I gave it 5 minutes (scrap that, about an hour) this is what I came up with and I think it's a pretty good wish list if I do say so myself - even if some of the things are a bit far fetched! lmao

Christian Louboutin Lady Peep Kid - I know I'm kidding myself on here but I'd loveeeee a pair of these, and having bagged myself a job I'm on a roll wanting to save all my wages in order to buy myself a pair, but at £583 I'll be saving for a while if I wish to get myself a pair of these bad boys.

Revlon Photo Ready Perfecting Primer - For anyone familiar with my blog you'll know I'm not much a primer kind of girl, I don't feel  it helps much but after watching several reviews on youtube about this particular primer I'm dying to give it a chance, but at £11.99 I'm trying to work up the courage to part with it for a primer considering it's not something I'd usually wear, I wouldn't think twice about spending this is on a nice lipstick or foundation.

Limited Edition Zoella "Just Say Yes" Sunglasses - I'm desperately wanting these in my life but my first pay cheque isn't until the end of the month, so the fact these are Limited Edition makes me think there won't be any left the time pay day comes around - sad times. Also, the fact it's coming up winter  and I stay in Scotland I'm wondering if it's worth my while buying these - I do love them but!! And at £21.95 (I'm sure) I really can't go wrong, plus the colour is super cute! For those looking for a pair you can get them here.

Pink Love Jumper This jumper is £19.99 from New Look, but as much as I adore this jumper, I literally mean ANY jumper since we're in Autumn. I don't own any big comfy jumpers at all (my Mum actually just bought me the first jacket I've owned in years last week - I hate big, stuffy jackets) so I hope to purchase a few in the next few weeks.

Lush "Pumkin" Bubble Bar - Pumkin is not a typo btw. Anyone that knows me knows I'm a super Lush geek so it will be of no surprise to you to know I'm absolutely buzzing for this to come out (amongst others, but mainly this one haha). This comes out in Lush at the end of the month (23rd I'm sure?) and at £2.50 it's certainly not one I'll be missing out on.

Snowflake Cookie Yankee Candle - I love Yankee Candles as much as I do Lush products (which is an extreme amount of loving haha) so when I saw this lovely one I'm like awww! It has a cute name and is pink so will match my room nicely, as you - more than likely - know already Yankee Candles come in different sizes so the price varies, and since this is a Christmas Edition it will only be available for a limited period of time so I best get my hands on one (to smell first) soon!

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ20 - Right the story behind wanting this? I broke my camera ages ago, like months and months (sad face, it was only a wee pink kodak something or other, not sure which make tbh) and since then I've been using my iphone - so when thinking for this post -I wish I had a camera- the first thing I done was type "cameras" into google and this came up, viewed the features and benefits and decided I wanted this particular one, and £135 it's not the cheapest but not the dearest - I feel I could save up for this super fast.

Money - Totally random to be on my wish list but it's true, I wish for loads of money or a lottery win or something. Two of my bestest friends in the entire world are going to be Mummy's (eeeeeek) and to top it off their wee bundles of joy are due only 6 days apart so I'm going to be one skint Auntie Natalie by the end of January hence why I want to come into some money some time soon!

I Heart Christmas book, Lindsey Kelk - Every time a Lindsey Kelk book comes out my big brother buys me it which I love him millions for so I can't wait till he gets me this one, I nearly cried when I finished I Heart London (there is an I Heart.. series - starting with I Heart New York) so I was over whelmed with joy when I saw on twitter a while back that Lindsey had started penning her I Heart Christmas book so I'm mega excited for this! It's on amazon for pre-order at £5.75.

I have eventually wrote a blog post on it's due date!!
(I started this at about 3 today, and I'm posting it at 1 minute to midnight - talk about being easily distracted haha)

#SBBC Day 15 - Beauty Things I Suck At.

Hey lovelies! To start this blog I think I deserve a round of applause , because lets face it , this is probably the first time in ages I've blogged in during #SBBC the day it's due - yay! lmao. Anyways, swiftly moving on...

Beauty Things I Suck At? ...

Daily beauty blogging apparently is one,
Cleansing, Toning & Moisturising daily,
Taking my makeup off before bed - owwwwahhhh!
Removing my makeup with anything other than face wipes,
Priming my skin (partly cause I feel my makeups fine without primer tbh),
Renewing products I know I'll need in advance (hate unescessarily parting with my money, even though it's not really unescessary haha)

and that's all I can think of really - I feel so horrified at admiting to them haha - poor me!

#SBBC Day 14 - Inspiration.

I take my inspiration from various places when doing my make up it literally could be from seeing someone walk past me in the street or to what someone I see on the TV wearing if I like the look of it, one of the main ones however are obviously following whatever my fave celebrities have got going on - as in this day and age that's what people my age will do.

I like to mix it up quite a bit so from one day to another I could be rocking a Kim Kardashian look, then to a Jessie J then to a Mila Kunis to a Katy Perry look - I honestly switch it up all the time depending on where I'm going I could be as severe as Katie Price with a full face of makeup or I could be wearing as little makeup as Jennifer Aniston it honestly just depends where I'm going and the mood I'm in, and of course what I'm wearing but don't be afraid to try out different looks - you might be sitting having only ever tried the one makeup look when a completely different looks suits you that you haven't yet given a shot, go on you know you want too!

#SBBC Day 13 - DIY Beauty.

I'm giving all credit of this post to Marc aka Prince of Vanity over on youtube - you can find him here.

The link I've attached takes you directly to the link where I discovered (thanks to Marc) how to create you're own Lip Tars - DIY style.

I swear it's the easiest thing to attempt as usually I'm totally rubbish at DIY things but this one worked easy as pie for me! It literally takes 5 minutes tops and costs less than a fiver (depending on which products you pick).

My lips with a dark blue DIY lip tar:

What You Will Need:

Tube of clear lipgloss (light pink may do)
A pigment colour of your choice
A plastic dish
A small spatula of some sort
A plastic tub (container)

Please note I only made a small amount to try it out, hence writing "small" , you can create as much as you like.

Have your dish sitting ready
Scrape a small amount (3/4 of a 5p size) of chapstick off with your spatula
Squeeze a small amount (5p size) beside it
Pour a good amount of pigment over the top to ensure it's covered
Use the spatula to mix it together - enough to ensure there's no bumps
Test it on your lips and then store in the plastic tub (container) to see a step to step guide on this go over to Marc's channel using the link given.

#SBBC Day 12 - Compare 2 or More Products.

Right I think you will all have gathered by now I'm totally rubbish at this daily blog thingymajig , so to compinsate for being so rubbish I now need to write 3 blog posts today as I've been a major busy bee!

As the name of this post suggests - this will be a compare 2 or more products post, wrong!! I decided to change this one up a bit and do a tag which I saw over on The Brunette Beauty Bloggers blog - which you can find here. The blog post was a "How Much is Your Face Worth" tag which she tagged everyone in - so I'm following suit and tagging you in it too! Anyway here goes (I'm scared)...

Rimmel Fix & Perfect Primer - £6.99
Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation (Ivory 100) - £8.99
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer (Ivory 010) - £5.49
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder - £3.99
Fake Bake Bronzer - £15.00
Illamasqua Powder Blush (Sophie) - £10.00 (on sale)

Jane Iredale Bitty Brow Kit (Brown) - £20.00
L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara (Black) - £10.99
Barry M Lipstic (151) - £4.49

(I used Royal & Langnickel S.I.L.K Pro brushes which I won't include as they came in a set, and for my brows the brushes come in the kit).

Total: £88.93
(If the Illamasqua blusher was bought full price it would be a total of £96.93 as there was £8 off the original price).

#SBBC Day 11 - Biggest Beauty Fails.

I'm currently preparing to cringe when I upload the pictures that I'm about to.. not to blow my own trumpet but I've not had many beauty fails tbh and I found it extremely hard to find the two pictures that I have of course I've had the odd day where my makeup just isn't sitting the way I would like it to or I've been in a rush and missed bits here and there but it's not often and I don't find it a big deal as such but the two pictures that I'm attaching to this blog make me think "wtf" and if I could go back and slap 14/15, and maybe possibly 16 year old Natalie, then I would, prepare yourself girls.... - warning, may be some severe pouting going on. -

You'll be glad (or not so glad) to know this is the most normal one of the two pictures - the beauty fail behind this is (if you haven't spotted it lmao).. that even though at the time my makeup and tan were absolutely fine - I edited the absolutely sh*t out of this to make it tanned *cough*orange*cough* resulting in me resembeling an oopma loompa, with a greasy hair parting according to this picture - also I have no idea as to why it looks as if I've brought my blusher to away up above my temples, I can assure you I did not do this - trick photography I think haha!

AHHHH! Orange much?!?! There's a story behind this one though, and as much as I'd like it to be to excuse the orangeness -  this picture is not edited. I'm sure I was 15 coming up on 16 in this picture and I was going to my friends 17th house party last minute and I was in my other friends before we decided we were definitely going to go so I was looking a bit worse for wear so asked my friend for some tan to shove on so she gave me one which develops and not an instant tan as I don't think there were many of them about back in the day haha! So anyway I shoved it on and then some foundation and brozer as you do, and I was looking reasonably bronzed - that was until later in the night I was well.. orange, as you can see in this picture - the tan wouldn't seem to stop gradually getting darker and the worst part was it seemed to be only taking to my face and neck (hence the mega white arms) I also seem to be rocking the slight foundation lips look - attractive ;) haha.

These pictures are on the same nights as the above pictures proving I looked not as orange to begin with, just to clarify :) haha. The left picture was the same night as the top one I just shoved a crop top over the top I was wearing in the first picture. The right picture also shows even though I was a bit overly bronzed it was still a wearable look that I could just about get away with until the tan started to develop throughout the night! haha.

I hope any young ones reading this take note as looking back even though I thought I looked absolutely stunning at the time these were not good looks and also ones which I hope I never have to repeat.

#SBBC Day 10 - Beauty Pet Peeves.

Quickly doing this post before it hits 12 o'clock then I'm behind again so here goes ;

Clumpy eyelashes - I mean seriously why do you want to walk around as if you have 2 big spiders on your face?!

Oompa loompa & that line! okay so it's bad enough to be walking around resembling an oompa loompa however it's even worse when you can tell you aren't really an oompa loompa cause of the big giveaway line at your jaw, eugh!

Slug brows - okay so big brows are in , slugs aren't - what's the deal with having creature like replicas on your face?!

Enhanced eyelashes on mascara adds, why?! It's not giving the product a good name and I certainly won't be buying it!!

#SBBC Day 9 - Ways to Incorporate Colour.

I quite like this topic as it's something I actually have knowledge about haha! So here goes..

Around May time, I think it was a Thursday (not that you needed to know that..) me and one of my best friends attended a workshop at the Illamasqua counter in Glasgow which was held by an amazing makeup artist called Mika who I got some fab tips from! So it's a good job I remembered them for the sake of this blog haha! As me and my friend attended the later session (we had to do a quick dash from college for the train! - nightmare!) it ended up being us and us only in the workshop we were at so we got a lot of one on one help and we couldn't get away with hiding in the back (which we would have done without a doubt if there were more bodies in attendance) anyway cutting to the point - we carried out a smokey eye look and anyone familiar with the Illamsqua brand will know of their "Paranormal" product line which contains the "Paranormal" eyeshadow palette which is quite a vibrant coloured palette so what we done to add a dash of colour was take one of the colours and literally apply it to the centre of the lid and no more, and it opened up the eyes tremendously! So it just shows what a pop of colour can do! - Also for anyone who is afraid of wearing bright colours on their eyes this is a great look to start off with as it's not too much and is totally wearable! - for anyone that's still too scared to go for this look a bright lipstick colour is your best bet to go with - several colours available so you can go as far fetched with this look as you so desire!

I'm not a big clothes person, I'm more of a buy clothes when needed kind of person tbh. But if I specialise in anything when it comes to clothes it's adding a dash of colour - to do this there's a combination of ways, 3 of which I will list below -

Just to inform you all before I go ahead - I'm assuming you're wearing a monochrome look haha!

Look One
Fully monochrome clothed with a dash of colour using a bag of some sort and matching colour of shoes.

Look Two
Monochrome outfit including bag, with a dash of colour in the shoes and jacket so they aren't too close to each other.

Look Three
For those who don't want to be as extreme, keeping your outfit monochrome - add a dash of colour using statement jewellery and voila, look complete!
