As you're all probably well aware it's not even 2014 yet but hey ho! there's nothing like being prepared. I've already signed up to be part of the 2014 Blogger Challenge created by the lovely Gaby from Another Girly Blog.

The challenge?
To post twice monthly about a certain topic weekly which Gaby will disclose to us nearer the time - the good thing about this though is it's not just based on a certain subject so your blog will certainly be varied and since it's twice monthly (the first and third week) you'll pretty much always have something to write about - hi5 to all the other people who suffer from writers block! haha.

Also, it's a great way to meet other bloggers - upon writing this post as well as myself there are a total of 243 and counting bloggers participating in this - so surely you'll start chatting to someone through it! (of course only if you want to!).

So do you fancy it? If so go check out this post over on Gaby's blog and get signed up - or alternatively email with you're blog URL and she'll get back to you with more info. The closing date for signing up is the 9th of December, so get your skates on!!

Tag: I'm A Beauty Blogger... Get Me Out of Here!

Okay so I'm running a week behind but the lovely Rochelle and Natasha from Next Route Style have created a fab tag to run alongside our viewing pleasure of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! which is a beyond brilliant idea, especially for lovers of the programme, aka me. Oh and if you're reading this then guess what?! You're tagged!

Week 1;

1) You can only take ONE product into the jungle (aka your luxury item). What would you choose and why?

A mousturiser containing an SPF to keep my skin hydrated and safe from the sun considering I would be in Austrailia.

2) What would be your main pre jungle worry?

The tasks, enough said!

3) You only have five minutes to get ready before going into the jungle, what would be your quick beauty routine?

Slight bit of bronzer and a slick of mascara.

4) Last year we saw Helen Flanagan wearing her hair in a top bun. What would be your signature hairstyle?

I'd have to be the same as our Hels, my hairs always in a bun anyway cause it's super long and thick and always gets in my way.

5) For moral support, which female celebrity would you like to be in the jungle with you?

I have to say Jessie J because she's always comes across as the kind of person that would be super fun to hang about with and I don't think she'd be scared to give things a go, she chopped all her hair off for charity - brave! (p.s you could also have a sing song with her).

6) Everyone’s given a role in the camp. What lifestyle skill would you bring to the jungle?

I think if anything I'd be the motherly one that people could come to for comfort but if you weren't doing your fair share I'd like to think I'd be the one to tell you to get your act together.

7) What one thing about being a beauty blogger sometimes makes you want to scream ‘Get Me Out Of Here’?

Trying to make all your posts different and give great content which won't bore your followers to death.

8) Challenge – This is a once in a life time opportunity. You’re up for a trial to face your fears or try something new, what would you choose to do and why?

Because I'd point blank refuse to do anything to do with heights I'll have to do anything with being submerged under water.

Okay so that's week 1 down, and because I'm running behind I'm going to do week 2 straight away so keep your eyes peeled for my next post!

Tag: I'm A Beauty Blogger... Get Me Out of Here! (week 2)

Okay so on to week 2 - woohoo I survived week 1 haha. Refer to my last post for week 1 , and remember you're tagged!

1) Firstly congratulations! You won last week’s bush tucker trial and your reward is a makeover from a professional make-up artist. What look would you choose and why?

Yay! haha, I'd probably chose a retro 50s look as for some strange reason I think it would go great with the jungle outfit I would have to wear.

 2) It’s time to wash – ok so it’s not in a luxury shower or a bath but you do get a choice of one soap/shower gel to use. What would you choose and why?

I'd use Lush's Snow Fairy cause it would make me feel super girly considering I'd be in the jungle and it would be a lovely smell considering I'd have no deoderant or perfume I'm assuming!

3) Today is the arrival of a new camp mate, yay! You get to decide, it can be anyone this time. Who will you choose and why?

I'd say my mum but I doubt she'd appreciate me taking her into the jungle so I'd say my big brother cause then I'd have someone from home with me!

4) It can get a little boring in the jungle and you’re feeling sluggish. What one fitness exercise would you do?

Probably sit ups and squats working those abs and ass!

5) How would you create your own jungle fashion style?

I'd tie that jacket thing so it was like a crop jacket, I'd rip the bottoms off my trousers to make shorts and then use the material from my trousers to create a bandana - ohhh yeah that's how stylish I am!

6) What is your favourite Australian product and why?

I love the Aussie shampoo and conditioner for long hair, it also smells amazing!!

7) Good news, the camp has won the treasure chest hunt! In need of something sweet, each camp mate wins their own cupcake. What would yours be?

I'd probably go with a simple vanilla icing cupcake - simple but sweet.

8) Challenge – bush tucker trial number 2, ‘the jungle hair & beauty salon’. You’re sitting under a vintage hair dryer and instead of hot air being blasted out you are greeted by 10,000 creepy crawlies. Which creepy crawlies would you detest the most and which ones wouldn’t you mind?

I'd hateeeeeee spiders or cockroaches, I wouldn't mind maggots.

Leibster Award - Number 2.

I've been nominated for the Leibster Award for the second time by the lovely KatieLou from Spots and Stripes , you should check out her blog! Anyway the point of this award is to get blogs with under 200 followers known (I'm going by bloglovin' followers), and the rules of the award are;

Friendly Friday's Update.

Hey lovelies!

Apologies!! I know I made you all aware of this on the post about Friendly Friday's but there will be a zero percent chance of the first post being up tomorrow it will have to start next week. I can't apologize enough for this, the reasons for not having it done for tomorrow or getting it done tomorrow are: my dad's in hospital just now so running back and fourth to there has been such an effort, also as I said on my first post I have a night out tomorrow night and lastly I start a NEW job in a salon tomorrow and I'll be working till 6 so I'm going to be a busy bee!

Again, apologies to the girls who were supposed to be up this week I can assure you the post will be up next friday, I'll actually get it done on my day off and schedule it for next week in fact!! And anyone who was supposed to be next week will be the following week - sorry for any inconvience m'dears!

My Week in Pictures.

Professor Green - I came across this picture I'd drawn of him a while ago, I really do have an obsession with him. Apologies for the not so amazing drawing though I promise your eyes will stop bleeding soon haha.

Quote - I love funny quotes and this one made me laugh hysterically! It's such a "me" quote, as in something I'd say to a friend or something.

Quote 2 - This one is about friends if you can't read it, it simply says "If a friendship lasts longer than 7 years psychologists say it will last a life time" - my friends mean the world to me.

Me - had just had my hair done and came home and done my makeup, just a basic cat eye with a red lip - mua of course! And even though it looks edited I can assure you it's not, I am really that gorgeous! haha just kidding, the lighting in my room was working some magic.

Drama - I swear I couldn't care any less.

Vampire Diaries - I've recently been watching "Pretty Little Liars" on a great app called Show Box, I managed to catch up within the space of a week and a bit so I was lost when I didn't have it to watch anymore (roll on January when it's back), anyway one of my friends told me to start watching Vampire Diaries and now I'm addicted, why did I not watch this sooner?!?!

McBusted - my best friend Mark phoned me up the other day to let me know that me, him and our other friend Lisa are going on a road trip down to Manchester next year to see McBusted, will definitely be reliving my childhood, already looked out my CDs haha!

Quote 3 - Wizard of Oz isn't particularly one of my fave films tbh but the quote was a good 'un and how can you resist glittery red ballet pumps? Cute!

Alexander - The other day I got a dm from a band called Alexander on twitter, usually I don't reply to dm's like that cause a lot of people send them but I checked out their twitter and they seemed really cool so I was dm'ing back and fourth with one of the members (I have no idea which, it may even have been someone who promotes for them, who knows?!) and was getting info on their tour, their tickets are £10 as they are just starting our so I'm definitely going to go and check them out when they're in Glasgow! I also recieved another dm today saying their new single is now on itunes for 59p called Find A Way Out, which is amazing! I've had my iphone since January and this is the first song I've bought on it, also the proceeds go to Beat Bullying charity so you're doing a great deed - and lastly - a very important piece of info to some - all 4 of the boys are easy on the eye ;) haha.

Friendly Friday's.

Okay so at the start of October I featured on Sociable Sunday's over on Jenna from Northern Beauty 85's blog. At the time of featuring I wrote a post on my blog about it and how I thought it was a great idea to get other blogs known and said that I'd quite like to start my own feature like this so here I am creating "Friendly Friday's" (hahaha sh*t name but I literally couldn't think of anything better). So anyway I plan on starting this feature next Friday which will be the 22nd, I am going out this night however so I'm not promising anything, it may be the following week - firstly I need my first person to agree to feature. So here's what I'm asking of you..

Send me via ;

Your name.

A picture of you or something that relates to you blog.
A small paragraph about you, preferably more than 3 lines.
Your blog URL. (and youtube link if you have one).

You will also need to do a small feature on you're blog about featuring on my Friendly Friday's, I will do 3 people on one feature so if you happen to be mail number 4 I'll make sure you're top of the list for the following week.

And that is literally all I'm asking of you. I'm getting no benefit out of this what so ever I just thought, like Jenna, it's a great way to get other bloggers to meet and I hope you appreciate it as a weekly feature on my blog.

Let me know you're opinions on this and don't forget to mail me if you wan't to be the first to feature next week.

What My Hand Writing Says About Me.

I saw this post over on the lovely Christina at Polka Dot Hearts and I found it super interesting, that much so I thought I'd do my own post on this, from looking at THIS website I've gone all detective and de-coded the meaning of my handwriting, so here's what I found out about myself thank to my handwriting;

Oh and I should state, I will put in brackets beside the statement if I think it's true about myself to see how accurate the results are.

Outgoing, people-orientated, outspoken and I love attention, or potentially I try to put up a front so that I come across as more confident than I am. (correct).

I enjoy to be on my own and like my own freedom, I also hate being in big crowds (incorrect).

I don't let emotions get on top of me, I'm logical and practical. (hmm, bit of both).

I'm logical, systematic and like to make my decisions carefully. (correct).

I'm relaxed and spontaneous and express myself freely. (correct).

I'm open minded and enjoy trying out new things. (correct, to an extent).

I have great imagination. (correct).

I'm introverted and very private and don't like talking about my feelings. (correct, which is odd considering i'm a blogger haha).

I might not be following my heart in my career or other choices in life. (correct).

I'm good at coping with commitment and the serious side of life, I'm also uptight and don't respond well to criticism. (correct).

I'm comfortable in my own skin and don't need to pretend I'm someone I'm not. (kinda both).

So there you go, a bit about me via my handwriting. I think this is so strange, when it got to ones that where so accurate about me I was like WOW! haha. This was so much fun to do btw, so thanks to Christina for posting it on her blog to begin with, just follow the link I provided at the start to decode your own and let me know how you get on.

#BritishBloggerSelection Q&A.

Okay so if you read my post that I
posted last week you will know all about the British Blogger Select , if not then have a scroll back and look as I can't link the post at the moment! (I will rectify this once I can). Anyway the jist of it is Ellie gives all us a theme each week and it's up to us if we participate that week, this weeks theme is Q&A which I absolutely love as I was considering doing my own Q&A sometime this week! So it slotted in perfectly!

Anyway here are the set questions I had to answer;

Why do you like Blogging?
I like blogging because it's something interesting that takes up time that could easily be used for lazing about!  It also lets loads of people get to know each other through things they are passionate about which is ideal!

How did you come up with your blog name?
Okay so by going with my blogname it's different to my blogURL, my blog was originally called NatalieCatherine due to it being my name (Catherine is my middle name, I just get called Natalie). I then thought I wanted to change it to something more "blog like" so then I thought well I'm talking about things in my world and then tada, Natalie's World was created (if anyone knows how I can change my URL for it to link up with my bloglovin' to nataliesworld please help!)

Where in the UK do you come from?
I come from a place just outside of Glasgow in Scotland - which is quite annoying cause most bloggers whom I read are from England and I can't participate in "blogger meet ups" and what not.

What's your favourite colour?
I love purple, I originally only liked lilac colours but now I love all colours of purple haha!

Do you like Lana Del Rey?
I didn't used to, I actually really disliked her music to begin with but I actually really like her "Summertime Sadness" song.

Any hidden Talents that you have?
I can do the splits if that counts?! haha.

Celebrity crush?
Oh I could be here for a while, I have such random tastes and it varies big time I'll give you a top 5; professor green (english rapper), keegan allen (toby from pretty little liars), channing tatum (actor), dan osbourne (from the only way is essex, british reality tv programme) and finally david gandy (british model).

Favourite blog of all time?
I'm going with a totally obvious one here and it's none other than the gorgeous Louise, from Sprinkle of Glitter - I feel like we have so much in common (minus marrige and a child haha) and that we'd get on super well!

What made you want to join #BritshBloggerSelection?
Because I thought it was a great idea to help get other blogs to know each other! And for when I'm having a day that I want to write and have nothing to write about I can use the set theme to write that day.

Let me know if your participating in the #BritishBloggerSelect and I'll be sure to check your blog out, if you want to take part read back my post - it was only about 3 or 4 posts ago so you should find it easily!

Someday I Will...

I got this blog post idea from Noor who's blog is Noors Place her blog is great and her reads are so inspirational and informative and there's several I've read already, even though I only found her blog a few days ago, which have made me laugh so much! This particular one I thought was a great read and it really got me thinking, some of Noor's ideas for her post where funny but I'm going to keep mine as achievable as possible.. - I suppose you could say it's like a small bucket list. (My actual bucket list is HUGE though).

Someday I will.. be in a job i'm happy with.

Someday I will.. meet Professor Green.

Someday I will.. go to Orlando.

Someday I will.. I will find the person I want to marry.

Someday I will.. have an amazing family of my own.

Someday I will.. go back to college to do makeup artistry.

Someday I will.. watch all Harry Potter films back to back.

Someday I will.. I will go back and watch all the Desperate Housewives series'.

Someday I will.. have a successful blog like Tanya Burr, Zoella, Sprinkle of Glitter etc.

Someday I will.. do stage makeup for a big production.

Someday I will.. conquer the world mwahahahaha!

A small short post for today but I hope you enjoyed it and have taken the last one in jest.

Leave a comment of you're "Someday I Will's" or make a blog post about this and leave me a message with the link and I'll check it out.

Q&A Post?!

Hey there m'loves!

I'm thinking of doing a Q&A post sometime next week literally about anything that you would like to know about beauty, my life, advice anything you can think of. I need about 10 questions before I consider even writing the post though so I'm relying on you all to leave me questions - feel free to leave me more than one cause I quite like the idea of doing a Q&A post.

The Sunshine Award.

I've just been nominated for The Sunshine Award by the lovely Sarah from What Sarah SaysI couldn't be more chuffed to be nominated for this award as it's given to bloggers who are kind and creative whilst blogging helping others to be inspired, awww!

The rules of the Sunshine Award are:

Include a picture of the Sunshine Award logo in the post and incorporate it into your blog somewhere too.

Mention the person who nominated you and link the post back to them. - see above.

Write 11 facts about yourself.

Answer the 11 questions the person who nominated you set for you.

Nominate 11 other bloggers.

Write 11 questions for them to answer.

So here goes nothing...

11 Facts About Me:

1- My current addiction is Pretty Little Liars - I've just started watching it about a week and a half ago and I'm on episode 1 of series 4 already.

2- I've took a random interest in doing makeup artistry so I'm considering going back to college to do so.

3- I've touched Tinie Tempah's bicep, read it and weap! haha.

4- I'm in love with Keegan Allen that plays Toby in PLL, even if he's not my usual type ;) haha.

5- I booked my 21st birthday party in January this year and it isn't until April of next year - well prepared.

6- I have the randomest taste in music ever! It varies from the likes of Professor Green to The Saturdays to Tom Jones to MCR to Avicii - random enough?! haha

7- I'm dying to go honey blonde in hair colour but I don't know if I'd suit it?

8- I'm addicted to watching youtubers but I'd never be brave enough to make my own channel.

9- My ultimate job is to work on cruise ships doing makeup.

10- If I wasn't in the beauty industry I'd be in the dance industry.

11- If you ever had to meet me im potentially the quietest person ever until you get to know me then you'd regret ever meeting me as I'm then the loudest haha!

The questions Sarah set for me answered below;

The questions I'm asking are:

1) Name three things you can't live without?

my family & friends, my phone and music.

2) What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?

This is going to sound like "the typical answer" but it's true and it's to be myself.

3) What would your last meal be?

Chicken pakora, chips and pakora sauce from my local Indian takeaway.

4) What are your favourite types of blog posts to read?

Beauty ones or ones about peoples adventures and life stories.

5) Why did you start blogging?

I had just finished college and bored and was getting so into watching youtubers I then found out a few of them had their own blog so I decided to start my own.

6) If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be and why?

There's three places - I'd love to live in St. Andrews in Scotland, or Edinburgh but if I could move anywhere in the world without question it would be Orlanda, Florida.

7) Who or what is your biggest inspiration?

I can't answer this without crying whilst typing haha! My biggest inspiration in life is my uncle, who sadly passed away in July, he's left a big impact on my life though and when I was still at college I wrote an essay on how he was my inspiration in life. This is also going to sound a bit cliche but my mum is also a big inspiration, so she must get it from her big brother.

8) What is the best present you ever received?

For my christmas in 2010 (or maybe it was 2009) I got Pink concert tickets from my mum & dad and although this might not seem like much Pink is my favourite singer and my mum had totally convinced me I wasn't getting them, so much that when I opened the present on christmas day I cried with happiness! haha - yes I am really that emotional.

9) Describe yourself in three words?

I recently had to get one of my friends to answer this for me for an application I was applying for so I'll pop down what she replied; cheerful, confident and funny.

10) What has been your favourite holiday?

As in abroad? I've only ever been abroad once in my life and I was 6 but it was with the majority of my family so I can guarantee it was my favourite cause I spent it with the people that mean the world to me!

11) If you could live in any other time in history when would it be?

I'd have lived in the 1950's as I adore the fashion sense they had back then.

The 11 bloggers whom I nominate;

My questions for you are;

1- if you could relive one moment of your life which moment would it be and why?

2- if there was one song you wish you could have written which would it be?

3- who is your fashion/beauty icons?

4- who is your favourite youtubers and bloggers? - name 6 max.

5- if you could share one piece of advice with your followers what advice would it be?

6- what's your favourite thing about autumn/winter?

8- even if you have a job you like, what would your ultimate dream job be?

9- considering you have a blog, how do you deal with writers block if you've experienced it?

10- if you could go back and tell your sixteen (or younger) self some valuable advice you wish you would have known back then what would it be?

11- if you you could play a character in a move or television programme who would you chose and why?

Can't wait you read all your answers, leave me a comment when you've posted your's so I can have a read!

My Halloween Night Out.

Well as you all know Thursday night was Halloween however my local night club had a Halloween themed weekend so I didn't head out until Sunday night (I was working on Monday, so as you could imagine it was the shift from hell) but anyway it was the night club's biggest Halloween night on the Sunday and they had amusements outside the club too! You actually had to go on a ride before you got in, however I managed to skip this but in return for opting out of the ride I got ID'd (asked for photographic evidence which contains my date of birth) I felt so childish for being 20 but hey ho I needed the toilet and refused to go on just in case I wee'd the seat - slightly graphic but I'm telling you how it is haha, anyway for the beady eyes of you out there that are about to tell me off from outside of the UK, you need to be 18 to drink alcohol and not 21 before you pick up on that. Anyways, since I didn't go out on Halloween and was still in recovery yesterday I'm just getting round to posting about my outfit today.

My outfit was totally last minute as I hadn't made up my mind until the friday that I was definitely going out and next day delivery online wouldn't have gotten to me until yesterday or today. So I went on a brain storm, I knew I wanted a zombie look - my original idea was zombie prom queen but as I said the outfit wouldn't have got here on time so I took to my wardrobe - the only thing I had which I could "zombie-fy" was one of my old white college tunics, perfect for a zombie nurse so that's what I was - all I needed was blood, makeup, a fob watch to attach to my tunic and loads of makeup. I teamed up my tunic with wet look leggings I've had for a while from Primark which I got for about £8 and a pair of boots which I also found in Primark for £20 which I'd wear again as usually I wouldn't buy boots at £20 cause I usually wouldn't wear them again so I was on a mission to find a cheap pair but I'd definitely wear these ones again.

Okay so to create this look I used:

Illamasqua Light Liquid Foundation in LF 140
Rimmel Clear Complexion Powder in Transparent
A mix of grey colours from my 120 eyeshadow palette - contouringMaybelline 24hour Colour Tattoo Eyeshadow in Timeless Black
Black and Red Eyeshadow from my 120 eyeshadow palette - eyeshadow and around eyes
Maybelline The Falsies Mascara in Black
Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick Kate in 004 with MUA Red 01 underneath
Black and White BeautyUK Jumbo eyeshadow/eyeliner stick

Tissue paper (one ply at a time)
Liquid latex
Eyeshadow - blacks, reds and purples.
Fake blood

White tunic
Black leggings
Fake blood
Fob watch

I hope you all accept my apology for the blurriness of this picture but I'll just inform you all this is my best friend Lauren who I was on my night out with, amongst a few others - Lauren's been my best friend for 15 years and every crazy night out that I have, you can guarantee Lauren has been involved one way or another! Obviously Sunday night was no exception and and it was good to be back out on force with my partner in crime haha! I don't get to see her much these days though so we certainly make up for it when we get the chance. We are definitely bad influences on each other and have been during the past 15 years! haha. This meaning that this is highly likely to not be the last blog post that she is involved in. Don't you think WonderWoman and Zombie Nurse make a fab double act?! haha.

Beauty This or That.

Saw Girl Friday do this post a while ago and I'd had it saved so I could go back and do it when I had the time, and guess what? That time is now haha! Like usual I tag all of you who read this to also do this, and let me know in the comments if you do and I'll check your posts out.

Blush or Bronzer?
I used to be a told bronzer lover, like you would see me a mile away glowing with bronzer but now I rarely wear it and would opt for a blush every time now.

Lipgloss or Lipstick?
Lipstick partly because you get more of a range of colours and your hair doesn't stick to it if you have your hair down.

Eyeliner or Mascara?
Mascara my eyes look so small without it!

Foundation or Concealer?
Foundation as I normally have quite good skin and don't usually need a concealer.

Neutral or Colour Eyeshadow?
I used to be all about colour now I'm all about natural - I've calmed down a lot with my makeup I used to be so bold with it and now I've stepped away from the "out there" look.

Pressed or loose eyeshadow?

I prefer the pigmentation of loose eyeshadow better but I hate the mess that comes with it, I wanted eyeshadow not cheekshadow! So in that case I'll go for pressed in the hope that it's a good pigmentation.

OPI or China Glaze?
China Glaze takes the title here. I beyond love it!

Long or Short Nails?
Long. I used to have mega long nails but ended up having to cut them for college so they don't grow as well anymore so I usually just have acrylic or gel extensions on.

Acrylic or Natural?
Refer to above answer.

Bright or Dark?
I prefer bright but now and again I opt for a dark.

Flower or no flower?
I supposed this is in nail art terms? I'd say no, I do like the odd gem though.

Perfume or Body Spray?
Perfume - particularly Beyonce Heat Rush.

Lotion or Body Butter?
Body Butter I feel you can find nicer smelling body butters than you can lotions, call me weird if you like haha!

Body Wash or Soap?
Depends where I'm getting washed whether it be at the sink on in the bath/shower.

LUSH or Other bath companies?
LUSH definitely, obsessed is not the word for it!

Jeans or Sweat Pants?
Jeans, don't have many sweat pants.

Long or short sleeves?
Short, I get too hot with long sleeves on.

Dresses or skirts?
Dresses, I can't get skirts that are nice to suit my figure - ahh!

Stripes or Plaid?
Stripes, even if they do make me look bigger I'd go for that over plaid any day of the week.

Flip Flops or Sandals?
Sandals, flip flops kill my feet I need to tense them in order for them not to fall off haha!

Scarves or hats?
Scarves, I love them! Mainly ones containing skulls and/or stars.

Studs or dangly earrings?
Either or to be entirely honest.

Necklaces or Bracelets?
Bracelets, but im not fussy.

Jackets or Hoodies?
Hoodies, ask my mum I hate jackets I literally own one.

Curly or Straight?
My hairs naturally curly but now it's just wavy cause how long it is but I still curl it and prefer it, my hair just goes into a frizz ball if I try to straighten it.

Bun or ponytail?
Again, either or, these two are my signature hair looks!

Bobby Pins or Butterfly Clips?
Bobby pins, I own about a thousand no joke!

Hair Spray or Hair Gel?
Hair spray, I have so many wispy bits of hair which are so noticeable when I shove my hair up.

Long or Short hair?
Long, my hair was touching my bum until I got it cut last week, it's not about and inch below where my bra fastening sits on my back.

Light or dark?
Dark, I keep considering going a honey colour but I don't think I'd suit it (any hair experts help me out?!)

Side sweep or Full on bangs (fringe)?
I've only ever had a side sweep but now I have none of the two, considering getting a full fringe though (going to try a wig on first haha!)

Up or Down?
Up, I hate hair getting in my road - so really a full fringe probably isn't the best idea lmao.

Rain or Shine?
Shine, the rain makes me feel so lethargic.

Summer or Winter?
Summer, ice lollies! cold showers! hot boys minus their tops! Need I say more?

Autumn or Spring?
Spring partly because it's the lead up to summer and my birthday falls in the spring.

Chocolate or Vanilla?
In ice-cream terms vanilla all the way!

Planning a Baby Shower.

Hello lovelies! This is a total random post that I'm writing today but I'm looking for your help!

One of my best friends is expecting a baby which is due in January, and upon having a catch up with her last night we decided last minute I'd do her the honour of arranging a baby shower for her - bearing in mind I'm a 20 year old with no children of my own, I've only ever been to one baby shower in my life and I could barely organise a knees up in a brewery, so I'm calling in your help!

So far I have planned;
the date
got a list of the people going
- so like all the main things.

I've also got a few ideas for games but more would be appreciated, the ones i have already are;
the baby food challenge
chocolate nappy(diaper)
guess the celebrity parents
guess the babies weight and the date she'll come (we know the gender)
and lastly the baby alcoholic game (obviously my friend won't participate in this one as it involves alcohol but she'll get the chance to laugh at all her guest!)

That's what I have so far.

So if you could maybe suggest more and even suggest a few gifts that would be much appreciated! Even if you're already a Mum I urge you to let me know about random things that I might not think of.

I'll obviously do a blog post after it takes place but that won't be until December!

My New "FREE" Blog Design.

Hey there! If you're a regular reader of my blog posts you'll notice I've had a revamp - and I'm absolutely thrilled with it, how much did it cost I hear you cry?! Not a penny! It was absolutely free of charge and was created by the lovely Ellie over at Little Vintage Camera who has kept me up to date step by step with what she's being doing for me making sure that I liked the final product, I felt so sorry for her too as I was probably bugging her with my stupid questions every 2 seconds - me and blog designing do not go together one bit so I'm totally thankful for Ellie's help.

If a free blog design is something you'd be interested in head over to Ellie's blog, click on the Free Blog Designs link and read the Terms & Conditions stated on her page, even check out her testimonials whilst you're there!

Anyway I hope to be seeing you all with sparkly new blog designs! And again thanks so much to Ellie, I really do appreciate it!

Top 10 Halloween Films.

Okay so if anyone read my blog post yesterday you will know I'm now a part of the British Blogger Selection so this week the theme for the posts are Halloween so I thought I'd share my top 10 films to watch around the Halloween season; this will be a varied post so something for everyone - whether it be for the whole family, solely children or adults - the best time to watch these of course is the night of Halloween - that way you have all of your sweeties (candy) to each throughout the film.

1- Hocus Pocus
The ultimate Halloween film, if you've not saw this this you've not lived! haha. A great family movie for Halloween which will make you feel a mix of emotions whilst watching it. Be prepared to be creeped out whilst the song "Come Little Children" is being sang across the town.

2- Halloween Town

I loved this film when I was younger, not saw it in a few years but I'm definitely going to order the dvd from ebay as it's a classic. It's also a disney movie so you can get much better than that. For being a children's film it has a great story line too, but you'll have to watch to find out what it is.

3- The Witches

Again, a great one for all the family maybe not tiny children as the masks in this film are quite creepy (I'm 20 and I still get creeped out) but like Hocus Pocus, if you haven't seen The Witches you're totally missing out!

4- Halloween
Okay this ones for the older generation, I think Halloween is maybe a 15? And the name of it kind of tells you what time of year is best to watch it. It's horror based so you're typical psycho thriller masks and what not, you kind of know what's coming with this one but it's worth the watch.

5- Scream

An old classic, I'd never tire from watch Scream in fact I think it just lingers below Hocus Pocus as my favourite Halloween film it's not overly scary - I actually watched this before I was allowed and when I was in primary 4 I told my teacher at school Scream was my favourite film, so it really can't be that bad (the school must have thought I had some dodgy parents for letting me watch it so young haha!) Like the rest I've mentioned so far it has a great story line to it and there's several sequel's to it - and lets be honest, you really can't beat a sequel.

6- Freddie Kreuger: A Nightmare on Elm Street

This film actually scares me and the theme tune actually terrifies me but all in all I love it, I wouldn't actually say it's for the faint hearted as it's quite jumpy - and if you want you can opt for watching the older version or the recently released version, both are just as good as each other.

7- Sleepy Hollow

It's a Tim Burton film, enough said. All his films are amazing and when it contains Johnny Depp even better! I've actually not saw this film in absolutely years, like mega amount of years but I still love it and writing about it is making me want to watch it asap! haha.

8- Casper
Back to a kids film, you can't beat Casper when you're a kid - my favourite Casper movie is actually When Casper Meets Wendy and it reminds me so much of when I was younger, so this is perfect for Halloween if you have a young child in you're family.

9- Monsters Inc.
Totally not you're average Halloween film I'm aware of that but it contains monsters who work in a scream factory scaring kids so, like Caspar if you have any little ones in you're family this is an ideal watch for them.

10- Beetle Juice
This is fun packed film about Ghosts trying to get humans to move themselves out of the house that they have taken up residency in - not one that you'll be scared of I'm sure, if anything your sides will be sore from laughing!
