The Blogmopolitan Quiz - Round Two.

(clicking should expand the image)

Okay so I got this yet again from the lovely Erin from Two Thirds Hazel - I honestly love doing these posts, I actually feel like I'm filling it out for it to be published in Cosmo haha, if only eh?!

Weight Loss Wednesday - Week Eight.

A day late.. again - I've had such a hellish week, I ended up walking out of my job and all sorts, my healthy eating regime has been sooooo up and down and I've been to zero fitness classes - the plan is to fit one in today, but I got news this morning that I've became a big cousin again, YAY! So my day will now consist of baby shopping and going to get big kisses and cuddles from a gorgeous wee bambino, whom will hopefully have a name by the time I go see him (I'll keep ya'll updated).

So sorry for another crappy put together last minute post but that's the way life is these days, I'm sure I'll get by haha!

On the plus side though I did manage to weigh myself so below my motivational picture you can check that out.. not that it's much (not surprising I'm sure).

Change in Weight (since previous Wednesday):
1lb, better than nothing considering how crap my weeks been.

Pretty Little Liars Tag.

As a MASSIVE Pretty Little Liars fan I could have had a wee dance to myself when I seen that the lovely Kirstie and co, have created a PLL tag! They all chipped in and made a question each for this tag to come together - which I praise them for! So here goes..

1) Katie: Alison made her return to rosewood in her statement red coat. What is your wardrobe statement piece?
I have a severely bright multicoloured scarf which I love to wear. It can be paired with casual clothes or quite dressy - but no overly dressy clothes. Ideally I wear it with a monochrome outfit as it adds a pop of colour.

2) Kirstie: If you could raid anyone's wardrobe who's would it be?
Mainly because we have similar style I'd say Emily - she likes to keep it casual with a vest top and jeans but on a night out she totally pulls it out the bag with a nice dress.

3) Rebecca: Which cast member would you go to if you had a problem?
Hmm, this ones tricky. I'd probably go to Toby cause I think he would genuinely try and help you and if you asked him to he wouldn't tell anyone.

4) Estelle: Which character's personality do you think you most relate to?
This is something I find I ask myself a lot when it's on and I've came to the decision I see a part of myself in them all. Aria: I think I'm quite creative like Aria, I'm always drawing out of boredum. Spencer: I investigate things like she does, like the way she over analyses everything? Yip, that's me. Hanna: I'm quite ditzy - probably more than she is tbh, and I'm also attracted to a "bad boy" like her, a la Caleb. Finally, Emily: Like her I can be quite shy and keep myself to myself whilst thinking 101 things but when need be I can stand up for myself.

5) Gem: Which of the character's makeup would you most like to wear?
I'm going to have to say Aria as like her I'm prone to having a smokey eye makeup and teaming it with a natural pink/nude lip. Oh and you can't forget big eyelashes.

6) Tanyia: Which of the cast would you feel safest with when stuck in an A situation?
If you'd have asked me this last series I would have most definitely said Spencer but I'm shockingly going to say Hanna, she is totally at the top of her game with solutions this time round. Also, I'm pretty certain she could throw a good punch if she had to come face to face with A.

If your a fan of PLL I tag you!

The TMI Tag.

I've saw this one too many times recently after having saw it on youtube and seen as I'm quite a nosey person I thought you all may be as well - even if you won't admit it. So here's a wee sneak peak into getting to know me more. Also I can't remember who's blog I took this from as I copied it a few days ago, so if it's yours.. then thanks!

1. What are you wearing?
At the moment I'm wearing mismatched pjs and my dressing gown.

2. Have you ever been in love?
Nope.

3. Have you ever had a terrible break up?
All breakups seem terrible at the time but I was 16 the last time I was in one and we just decided "to go back to just being friends" , que me being an emotional sixteen year old wreck, but I survived so not all that terrible in the end.

4. How tall are you?
I'm 5"5.

5. How much do you weigh?
I know this is the TMI tag but that's information overload, I'll definitely not be telling you that anytime soon.

6. Any tattoos?
Nope, I used to want a couple but there's none that I overly love that I'd want to be scarred with the rest of my life.

7. Any piercings?
My ears and the cartilage at the top of my left ear.

8. You OTP? (one true pairing)
Definitely Spoby - Spencer and Toby from Pretty Little Liars, they are real in my eyes. Also, if she ever wants rid of him, I'm patiently waiting.

9. Your favourite show?
I have soooo many. I'm like a reality tv junkie. I love everything like the usual TOWIE, Geordie Shore, The Valleys, PLL, Desperate Housewives (even though it's over) - and the list goes on and on, having to pick one it would probably be Pretty Little Liars, I just hateeeee the wait between seasons for it.

10. Favourite Band?
JLS - I don't care if they've split, they will always have a special place in my heart.

11. Something you miss?
This is going to get so sentimental I tell you, but after being out on Saturday night at a local club and bumping into my cousin and having such a laugh with him, I realise I miss how close I am with a few of my cousins, like we where inseparable when we were younger, like best friends - but a family version, but I'll always love them! So yeah, my cousins.

12. Favourite Song?
My all time favourite song is Amazed by Lonestar, but my favourite just now is probably Ellie Goulding - How Long Will I Love You.

I'm 20 - I'm 21 in 60 days.

14. What zodiac sign are you?
I'm Taurus - and yes I am a stubborn bitch haha!

15. Qualities you look for in a partner?
I want someone who can make me laugh and shares the same sense of humour as me, also I want someone who is loving and protects me but not overly protective, as in they let me do my own thing without worrying.

16. Favourite Quote?
"Everything happens for a reason" - my friend actually has this tattooed on her foot and I so agree with it, same as "what's for you won't go by you" - it's destined.

Matthew McConaughey.

18. Favourite colour?
 Purple - more specifically lilac.

19. Loud music or soft?
Depends what I'm listening to.

20. Where do you go when you're sad?
My bed but if I needed someone to talk to I'd go to my Mum.

21. How long does it take you to shower?
If I'm not washing my hair then 5/10 minutes tops but if I'm washing my hair/shaving etc it can be about 30 minutes/40 minutes maximum.

22. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Minus having the shower etc etc, probably about 25 minutes at the fastest.

23. Ever been in a physical fight?
When I was younger I was in a few not so serious fights , it was all very childish and just like hair pulling and attempted slapping , peer pressure and all that.

24. Turn on?
Nice smile and eyes. Someone who is funny. Oh, and someone who smells nice.

25. Turn off?
Arrogant guys and guys that are down grading towards girls. Also, bad hygiene is a total no go.

26. The reason you started blogging?
I was become a total youtube addict and some of the youtubers I watch had their own blogs and as I was finishing up college I thought it would be a good hobby to do to cure my boredum.

27. Fears?
I have a fear of heights, as well as the usual snakes/spiders/birds/flying insects etc haha!

28. Last thing that made you cry?
I was hating my place of work, and ended up walking out.

The local night club.

Yes, I have several so I'll only name about 3.. Professor Green (uk rapper - not a real professor), Channing Tatum (we share the same birthday) and Keegan Allen (Toby from PLL, although not my usual type).

40. Last time you kissed someone?
The early hours of Sunday morning at that night club I was at - and yes I knew the person so it wasn't some random in case your thinking "ewww" haha.

Last night, my big brother is forever insulting me about my stupidity on general knowledge questions haha.

None, I played the clarnet for about 3 weeks and gave up when I was about 10.

How Long Will I Love You - Ellie Goulding.

47. Favourite chat up line?
"Are your legs hurting?" - "No, why?" - "Cause you've been running through my mind all day".

48. Have you ever used it?
Hahaha, no but I know someone who has had it used on them and I found it hilarious so that's where I got it from.

49. Last time you hung out with anyone?
Last night with my big brother, that sounds soooo lame, but we're close.

50. Who should answer this tag next?
If you've gotten this far then I tag you - mwahhhh!

Weight Loss Wednesday - Week Seven.

Late post as I know it's Thursday now and not Wednesday - but my weeks been a bit of a shambles to be honest! I literally haven't even weighed myself yet this week so who knows if I've lost or put on or stayed the same - all I can say is I tried those meal replacement shakes - the one I told you about in last weeks post. They were good and tasted soooooo yummy! (I got the Strawberry one and a Banana one - even though I hate actual banana's) Though one thing is for sure, I definitely can't use them as a total replacement maybe a breakfast replacement and that's all, as I was doing a shake for breakfast and lunch and then having my normal dinner - but on occasion I felt faint and light headed constantly, in the end I ended up eating again as I would normally without the shakes - yet still healthy and I felt much better, maybe if I just done the shakes at the weekends? Who knows!?

If anyone has any advice on meal replacement shakes please let me know in the comments!

Change in Weight (since previous Wednesday):
Like I said I haven't weighed myself yet so I'll be sure to fill this part in, in due course.
-update I weighed myself last night, I lost 1lb this week, woopwoop.

Weight Loss Wednesday - Week Six.

Just a small short post because I didn't have one prepared for today - naughty Natalie! Again this weeks been totally crap, I started healthy eating again on Monday though and went back to a fitness class - me and my friend done boxing again, not the same one as before but similar, it was tough but we got there in the end, the trainer worked us hard! Other than that I bought ASDA's own version of Slim Fast today, aparently it's really good - I opted for the strawberry one, but since I only got that today I'll fill you in on that in next weeks post.

One thing that has gave me a total boost though, I went out today shopping for the first time since I've been "healthy eating" and I actually bought clothes in a size smaller than normal which made me super excited and I now feel super motivated - there's still roughly 11 weeks until my 21st part but will buy my dress around the 7 week mark so I can lose a bit more before then, I'm aiming for a size 12 at the very most - I'm currently now between a 16 and 18.

Change in Weight (since previous wednesday):
Stayed the same this week again, but hopefully now I'm back on the wagon I'll lose next week.

Weight Loss Wednesday - Week Five.

This week has yet again been a rubbish week I've been eating out of total boredum cause I've had like five consecutive days off work - not good! I'm determined to start getting back into the swing of things though and I'm going back to a fitness class tomorrow after work. When I don't have the chance to go to a fitness class though I'm going to make sure I do one of my fitness DVDs. So I decided I'm going to do my best and worst fitness DVDS that I have as I have 6. The main theme of theme is dance cause I danced for 12 years of my life so if you catch on to a theme it will be that one haha. I'll tell you what's good about them, what's not so good and what I rate them out of 5. I've started with the DVD I got first up to the one I got most recently.

Dance it off with Vicky Binns
The good: there's 4 different workouts so you can focus on all areas of the body. There's also an eating plan which you can follow and the routines aren't overly hard to follow.
The bad: Vicky isn't really in the limelight anymore so if you want someone more current as inspiration this isn't the DVD for you. Also if your not a fan of dancing - again it's in the name. It's also a bit slow on getting started.
Score: 3 out of 5.

Clubland Work It Out -
The good: It's high energy workout which will make you sweat, again it's based around dancing and "clubland" so you can expect fab music (if your into that type of music that is haha). It also give you alternative options for some moves if the move is too difficult to follow.
The bad: Well I don't really have a bad for this DVD, the only down side is if you don't like dancing and you don't like the music featured e.g N-Trance - Set You Free, Cascada - Because the Night, Ultrabeat vs Darren Styles - Discolights, Rihanna - Don't Stop the Music etc.
Score: 4 out of 5.

Step Up: The Official Dance Workout -
The good: Great music yet again, easy to follow moves. Great if your a fan of hip hop style dancing.
The bad: A bit of a jumble, felt like it was overly structured. Takes far too long to get into.
Score: 1 out of 5.

Charlie Brooks' Before & After Workout -
The good: The workouts totally work your muscles and they can be done in a matter of 10 minutes as there is 5, 10 minute long workouts to follow. Easy as pie to follow as well and there's also an eating plan which you can follow.
The bad: The music really isn't that interesting if that's something that would bother you, it didn't bother me though.
Score: 5 out of 5.

Pussycat Dolls 2: Dancer's Body Workout -
(told you that you'd see a dance theme)
The good: Easy to follow routines, makes you feel sexy, great songs to dance to if you are/were a fan of the PCD and the fact it's the creator of the PCD that shows you the routines is a bonus.
The bad: Can be a bit risque and if you can't get your inner diva out of it's shell it's probably not one for you as it's all about having an attitude when dancing.
Score: 3 out of 5.

The Only Way is Essex: The Essexercise Workout -
The good: It only has 3, 20 minute workouts which are super easy to follow but totally work, I done this for the first time a couple of weeks ago and was in agony - clearly it worked my muscles. It also has several special features, including healthy eating and what to wear to workout - plus many more. Again it features great songs (I'm a sucker for a good song, can you tell?)
The bad: Not good if you not a fan of TOWIE let's face it. Other than that I really can't fault it.
Score: 5 out of 5.

Winner: Charlie Brooks' Before and After Workout - sharing top spot with TOWIE: The Essexercise Workout.
Loser: Dance it off with Vicky Binns.

If you've tried and tested any of these DVD's and disagree be sure to let me know, also if you have any more questions on these then let me know and I'll be happy to answer if I can.

Change in Weight (since previous Wednesday)
Stayed the same this week.

#2014BloggerChallenge - Once Upon A Time...

Warning - Contains Spoilers!!

This weeks topic - if you didn't get it from the name of the post - is books. So I've decided I'm going to tell you all about my favourite book, or one of them anyway - originally I was going to write about the Linsey Kelk - I Heart... series but I couldn't just pick one I'd have to write about the full series so I went outwith my comfort blanket to another favourite, I don't love it just as much as the I Heart series but it's pretty much near enough up there with that.

The book I am dragging on telling you all about, but actually not telling you what it is, is called Amy and it's by Mary Hooper.

(source from google as I couldn't find my own copy)

Amy - is about a young girl, who's name is Amy - though that may not come as a surprise to you all, who falls out with her two best friends after becoming the "third wheel" and goes to the internet as an escape. Becoming hooked on internet chat rooms and befriending an 18 year old guy who types under the name of  Zed, but is Zed everything he's making himself out to be?

Typically Amy is hanging onto Zed's every word hook, line and sinker and is reeled in so when he invites her to his place, the usually wise and level headed Amy is there like a shot, even with new and geeky best friend "Beaky" warning her of him, she isn't up for listening to her - and therefore ends up lying to her parents of her whereabouts when she sets of to meet Zed, knowing her Mum and Dad both weren't overly keen on her talking to someone online in the first place.

So it isn't a shock that when Amy does eventually meet Zed he isn't everything he's cracked up to be and she becomes more aware of this when she realises she's been slipped the "date rape" drug during their picnic on the isolated sand dunes. After realising her shirt is on back to front everything comes flashing back to Amy of being photographed naked - not raped. So when she manages to get back home and informs Beaky of what went on they set out on their mission to try and trap Zed so they can report him to the police.

But where does it go from there? You have to read it and find out!

Upon looking into this it's apparently a children's book for ages 10 up - but I was a teenager when I first read it, maybe about 14 at the youngest and I still thoroughly enjoyed it, and even at 20 I still like to fish it out now and again and have a read. It's maybe not the most intellectual read as the writing is a bit simple and easy to read - but being a children's book it makes you aware of the dangers and as the book is set out like a police report where Amy is telling her flashbacks of the story, it makes everything believable and when reading it you suddenly become aware that even you are believing all the lies Zed is spinning. A great read if your wanting to get chills, a quick read at the pool on holiday or made aware of the dangers of talking to people online and meeting up with them yourself.

My Room Tour.

Thought I'd do something I'd never saw done before hahaha! I really do hope you sensed the sarcasm there. I've saw "the room tour" done about 5 times this past week so thought I'd give it a go, and my room is by no means as spectacular as the rooms I've saw - they have been something else! But I thought I'd show you all my room anyway as I find the posts really interesting and I bet you all are just as nosey as me, even if you try and kid on that your not. So here goes, welcome to my bedroom.

This is on the door as you enter my room - my late Auntie got me it as a gift when I was about 9, so it's been on my door nearly 12 years.

The view as you open the door - for not being a big fan of pink my room certainly doesn't show that, it used to be lilac (my favourite colour) but I had to change it up when I decorated two years ago.

My computer desk and my favourite teddies - Lotso from Toy Story 3 and Leicester whom I got when I was 9 and in the hospital, random name for a teddy especially since I was 9?

Love a Yankee Candle, Vanilla Cupcake and Christmas Cookie both smell so yummy!

On the second shelf of my computer desk, TV remotes, 2 Linsey Kelk books (I Heart Christmas and A Girls to do List), my diary and a pen, earphones, my notepad for my 21st party notes, beechams for my sore throat and also vics for my sore throat/blocked nose.

My magnet from my big brother, love him to bits!

Above my computer desk (and to the left) is a photo frame with my mum and dad, me and all my friends, and me and my big brother on my 18th birthday.

My wardrobe - yip it's massive! haha.

In the right hand side of my wardrobe -
Casual clothes - colour coordinated, all my notes and books from college, and my shoe collection.

Above the clothes (as I couldn't fit it all in the one picture) is my bags, in a jumble haha.

In the middle of my wardrobe -
My wax pot, nail polishes and random junk stays here, as well as bathroom towels on the top shelves.

Also on the back of the middle wardrobe door is my professor green signed photo.

Below my middle wardrobe is a set of 3 drawers.

Top drawer - junk.

Middle drawer - makeup, skin care product and brushes.

Bottom drawer - hair products and utensils and perfumes.

In the left hand side of my wardrobe -
Christmas presents and party clothes, again colour coordinated.

Above the Christmas present and party clothes -
random boxes and my memory box.

My Fake Bake tent - as I'm qualified in spray tanning, my CD shelf, slippers, my bag, a table for doing nails on or work of some sort on, and a set of dumbbell weights.

My TV which sits on drawers containing my underwear , socks, etc. another a set of drawers for tanning products, acrylic nail products, and nail art products, my laundry basket, and yet more teddies, oh and a tweety pie balloon.

I had to put in this balloon cause it's the longest surviving balloon ever - I've had it since I was 9, I was given it in hospital and it's still not burst after all these years, usually they deflate after about a month haha.

And finally my cosy bed, with my wall quote which is the lyrics to Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars.
"If I lay here, if I just lay here, would you lie with me & just forget the world?"

So that's my room - I hope you found it interesting, if you would like more of a sneak peak into anything you've saw in my room let me know in the comments and I shall do a post on it sometime soon.
